Scott Friedberg, D.O.

Description

Dr. Scott Friedberg is a Board Certified Family Physician. He brings a thorough knowledge of Osteopathic Medicine to Palm Beach County and the Boca, Delray, and Boynton Beach areas. In his private practice, Dr. Friedberg treats a wide variety of diseases and helps his patients manage various health issues including high blood pressure, diabetes and treatment of both Covid-19 and seasonal flu’s, to name a few. His main focus is always to care for the whole patient and to encourage early prevention and detection to keep his patients healthy. Dr. Friedberg knew he wanted to be a doctor since he was in the first grade. As part of his first grade class project, students were asked to color and describe what they wanted to be when they grew up; Dr. Friedberg drew a picture of himself as a physician. His parents saved that picture and it now hangs in his office as a reminder of his commitment, even from a young age, to the health and wellness of others. Dr. Friedberg is one of the few true Florida natives! He was born in Miami, and completed his undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Florida. He then attended the nationally recognized and award-winning Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated in 2000. Dr. Friedberg is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and is on the medical staff at Delray Medical Center.
